Armed with his customary pint of bitter and a packet of Steak flavour pringles – not your typical Supper Club cuisine – our host Lee kicked off the final episode of our virtual trilogy:

This collaboration tool – and the remote working culture it breeds – has the potential to become the ‘new normal’ for many businesses long after the Covid-19 pandemic has been consigned to history. But what about the potential risks?

GRC Supper Club: Operational Resiliency and the Interconnectedness of Risk - by Michael Rasmussen18/5/2020
We also had Danny illustrating the key themes as we went, his artwork will help us collectively drive content from the events going forward.
The central theme was really workplace personas, perceived communications challenges and whether technology would help bridge these gaps. Can anyone hear Roger's BS detector going off?... phew. I was too tall to qualify for a Tom Cruise risk assessment prior to the event, so please let us know what you thought of the topic and event through the survey below. It was a pleasure, as always, bringing together old and new GRC friends. If you enjoyed it shout it from the roof tops, if you didn't please keep it to yourself ;)
I still have a few of the Groucho Marx glasses and cigars, if anyone wants a memento to wear around the Christmas Day dinner tables. The GRC SC will never forget Tom Edwards tinkling the ivories in the bar with 4 people stood around him singing as if in the war years - haha.
Also, A huge thank you to Rajat and Manoj for their fantastic talks which helped to facilitate the conversations throughout the night. Following on from the great discussions, I thought I would let you know 2 things that may be of interest:
See you all in 2016. Regards Lee Edge
